Hailing from the depths of South East London, R.E.C the vocal trio have taken the time to patiently build & articulate a refreshing yet reminiscent approach to the R’n’B/Soul genre.With a sprinkled Afro essence infused into their sonics, the ensemble leans on their heritage and merge it alongside a multitude of strengths.Coming from an educational background of of art, design & music business, Ginn, Jay-i & Taèo harness their attributes (referred to as their special abilities) to tackle the industry on their quest to secure their spot at the top of the sonic food chain. Using the label as a means to publish their individual & music, graphic novels and clothing brands.What with each member being a Ugandan national, the set up for the groups origin story is one some would call divine intervention. ~ a story best served with a side of global fame.Since the groups establishment, R.E.C have graced a plethora of stages from world known stadiums (The o2 stadium) to smoky jazz bars (Troy Bar) in the underbelly of London.With plenty more to come!
