I’ve always been musically inclined from a very young age. I always dreamt big when it came to music, but felt I needed to gain some life experience & “find myself” as an individual before taking the leap to officially launch myself as an artist. My style comes from my own life experiences, my circle & those I’m influenced by. More recently I had the opportunity to travel to Uganda to connect with my roots & family which has had a huge impact on my music. MyMum, who lives back home in Uganda, is my biggest supporter & herencouragement to connect with our homeland is where the inspiration beganto take on the Afrobeat sound whilst staying true to my South London roots. Ibelieve my music is a combination of both sides to me; Afro & R&B.When I released my first hit “Sweet & Sawa” I was lucky enough to use theopportunity at home to shoot the music video & connect with so manyUgandan creatives. The whole team was Ugandan! The success has been amazing, generating lots of streams & landing onsome major playlists. Building a genuine fan base has recently got menominated for “Best Music Newcomer” at the Charles Gordon trust awards. Ilook forward to growing my music and taking my career to the next level.
